Dear members,
The Trustee wrote to certain pensioner and dependant members in July and September 2023 about how we are legally required to address an historical inequality relating to some Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) benefits in the Scheme. We also explained how, in collaboration with the Company (E.ON UK), we wanted to give eligible members a one-off choice in how their pension increases in future, know as a Pension Increase Exchange (PIE) option.
The information pack you received in September 2023 would have been dependent on your particular circumstances and, where appropriate, whether you opted in or opted out of receiving information on the PIE option. Further information can be found by clicking on the appropriate link for you (if you are unsure, you will be able to tell which applies to you from the pack you have received).

For members of the relevant benefit categories within the Scheme who have yet to start receiving their pension, also known as ‘contributing’ or ‘deferred’ members, information on how unequal GMP benefits have been addressed and, where appropriate, the PIE option will be provided shortly before they retire. These members are not required to take any action now.
If you have any questions, the contact details are shown in the information pack we have sent to you or are available by clicking the link above to the part of this website relevant to you.
Please only contact the IFA Chase De Vere if you have received a PIE offer. It will be clear from the pack you have received if you have a PIE offer.
