Life cover is included in your E.ON UK benefits. This means your loved ones – or a favourite charity or good cause – could get a tax-free cash lump sum if you die while paying into the scheme.

This lump sum, depending on your membership category, could be worth up to 4 times your final salary, and is exempt from inheritance tax.

All you have to do is complete an Expression of Wish form – and keep it up to date! 

You can specify who you’d like to get the money and how it should be divided up. The Trustee doesn’t have to follow your wishes, but they will be taken into consideration and the whole decision-making process is speeded up if the worst happened.
